“While preparing for ASA-VALUATION, I keep a small list of mistakes from Case Analysis and Exam-Style Scenarios. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

“For ASA-VALUATION, Accredited Concepts and Core Domain Knowledge was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Yuki S.

“My ASA-VALUATION routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Senior Assessment and Interpretation. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”

“I use lunch breaks to review Appraiser Applied Practice and Decision-Making for ASA-VALUATION. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Elena G.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The hardest part of ASA-VALUATION prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Methods, Procedures, and Documentation separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”

Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
They may measure different interests or reflect different assumptions. An enterprise multiple values operations before financing; an equity cash-flow method values the owners’ claim after debt service. Even on the same basis, market transactions may reflect expected synergies that the subject company cannot realize, while a forecast may assume growth peers do not share. Align the standard and premise of value, cash-flow basis, debt treatment, valuation date and ownership rights before explaining any remaining difference.
Start with the economic facts and the quality of evidence. A market method needs sufficiently comparable companies or transactions and consistently defined prices and financial measures. An income method needs supportable forecasts and a discount or capitalization rate matched to the benefit stream. For a company with unusual margins, normalize earnings before applying a peer multiple. For a company undergoing a major change, model the transition explicitly rather than treating its current earnings as permanent. Reconcile the indications according to their reliability for the assignment.
First identify the rights and liquidity already reflected in the starting value. A noncontrolling interest may lack power over distributions or a sale; an illiquid interest may take time or cost to sell. Those are different economic effects, but neither warrants an automatic percentage. If the selected evidence already prices minority shares, adding a minority discount repeats that adjustment. If expected sale delay and costs are already in the cash flows, a second marketability adjustment can repeat them too. Any remaining adjustment needs interest-specific evidence and a clear calculation.
