“While preparing for FRM, I keep a small list of mistakes from Case Analysis and Exam-Style Scenarios. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

“Great FRM prep. Treasury Conquer was clear and easy to use!”
Jamal W.

“For FRM, Financial Concepts and Core Domain Knowledge was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Yuki S.
Treasury Conquer learner
“My FRM routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Risk Assessment and Interpretation. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”
Trevor B.

“The FRM practice questions kept my review focused.”
Hannah T.

“I use lunch breaks to review Manager Applied Practice and Decision-Making for FRM. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Elena G.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The hardest part of FRM prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Methods, Procedures, and Documentation separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”
Aisha M.

“I am still working through FRM, especially Ethics, Safety, and Professional Standards. Going back through missed questions slowly has shown me which details I rush past when I practice under time pressure.”

“The practice questions, key study notes, and supportive staff all help me to pass the exam. And the best thing is, is that the questions are well-structured and similar to the ones on the actual exam.”
Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
Value at risk identifies a loss threshold at a stated horizon and confidence level. Expected shortfall estimates the average loss beyond that threshold under a specified method. For hypothetical losses of 8, 10, 12, 15, and 25 million in the selected tail, expected shortfall is 14 million. The 25 million observation affects that average, even if it leaves the value-at-risk threshold unchanged. Both measures depend on the loss distribution and its assumptions.
Solvency concerns whether assets exceed liabilities in value. Funding liquidity concerns whether cash arrives when payments are due. A firm may hold valuable long-term loans yet owe 100 million tomorrow while only 40 million of cash is available. It must raise the 60 million gap by selling assets, borrowing, or using a committed source of funds. A rushed sale can reduce asset values and turn a liquidity problem into a solvency problem.
First identify the decision and the risk the model is meant to measure. Then check the inputs, horizon, assumptions, and conditions in which the model has performed poorly. Compare the result with limits, stress scenarios, and relevant observed losses. If a model reports a small market loss while a plausible rate shock produces a large loss, investigate the difference before increasing the position. A model result informs judgment; it does not remove the need to examine exposures and controls.
