“While preparing for CDBV, I keep a small list of mistakes from Valuation Applied Practice and Decision-Making. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

“For CDBV, Methods, Procedures, and Documentation was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Trevor B.
Treasury Conquer learner
“My CDBV routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Ethics, Safety, and Professional Standards. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”
Hannah T.

“The CDBV practice questions kept my review focused.”
Elena G.

“I use lunch breaks to review Case Analysis and Exam-Style Scenarios for CDBV. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Aisha M.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The hardest part of CDBV prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Distressed Concepts and Core Domain Knowledge separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”
Maya R.

“I am still working through CDBV, especially Business Assessment and Interpretation. Going back through missed questions slowly has shown me which details I rush past when I practice under time pressure.”

“Thanks to the well-organized practice questions, I was able to tackle my exam preparations with ease. The questions are thoughtfully designed to closely resemble those in the actual exam.”
“The practice questions, key study notes, and supportive staff all help me to pass the exam. And the best thing is, is that the questions are well-structured and similar to the ones on the actual exam.”
Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
Part 1 explains the bankruptcy process and the legal setting for valuation, including claims, collateral, financing, disclosure, and plans. Part 2 develops business valuation methods without assuming distress. Part 3 tests how those methods must be adapted when cash flows may stop, debt trades below face value, or a reorganization changes the capital structure. For example, a conventional enterprise value estimate from Part 2 becomes useful in Part 3 only after its forecast, discount rate, and proposed creditor distributions are made consistent with the restructuring facts.
Enterprise value measures the operating business under a stated premise. A creditor recovery analysis must also account for cash, financing claims, secured interests, higher-priority obligations, transaction or wind-down costs, and the amount and status of allowed claims. In a hypothetical plan, enterprise value of $75 million plus $5 million of available cash, less $10 million of DIP debt, $40 million of secured debt, and $5 million of administrative costs leaves $25 million for junior claims and interests, subject to the plan's legal requirements.
The valuation purpose and supported operating facts govern the premise. A going-concern analysis needs a credible path to continued operations and funding. A liquidation analysis estimates asset realizations, collection timing, wind-down costs, and claim distributions. Both may be needed: a proposed chapter 11 plan can rely on reorganized operating value while a liquidation comparison tests what affected creditors would receive if the business were wound down. The two figures should retain their own assumptions and dates.
