About this exam family

Corporate FP&A turns accounting records and operating plans into decisions about resources, performance and risk. A useful analysis begins by asking what the business is trying to achieve, which drivers can change the outcome, and whether the available data measures those drivers consistently. You then connect assumptions to projections, test the result and explain the choice it supports. This guide follows the two FPAC parts: Part I develops financial acumen, systems judgment and business partnering; Part II applies those foundations to projections, models and recommendations. Work through the examples as decisions rather than isolated formulas. A favorable variance can hide a weak product mix, while an attractive investment return can depend on a cash collection assumption that needs checking.
