“While preparing for CERA, I keep a small list of mistakes from Enterprise Concepts and Core Domain Knowledge. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

“Great CERA prep. Treasury Conquer was clear and easy to use!”
Hannah T.

“For CERA, Risk Assessment and Interpretation was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Elena G.
Treasury Conquer learner
“My CERA routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Analyst Applied Practice and Decision-Making. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”
Aisha M.

“The CERA practice questions kept my review focused.”
Maya R.
Treasury Conquer learner
“I use lunch breaks to review Methods, Procedures, and Documentation for CERA. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Priya R.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The hardest part of CERA prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Ethics, Safety, and Professional Standards separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”
Tom H.

“I am still working through CERA, especially Case Analysis and Exam-Style Scenarios. Going back through missed questions slowly has shown me which details I rush past when I practice under time pressure.”

Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
Expected loss averages outcomes and can hide a severe tail. A hypothetical event with a 1% annual chance of a 100 million loss has an expected loss of 1 million, but the organization still needs to assess whether it could survive the full 100 million event. Liquidity, capital, contractual obligations and effects on customers may make prevention or transfer worthwhile even when its price exceeds the expected loss.
Diversification helps when losses do not move together. For risks with standard deviations of 30 and 40 and correlation of 0.25, the combined standard deviation is √(30² + 40² + 2 × 0.25 × 30 × 40), or about 55.7, below the stand-alone sum of 70. That benefit can shrink in a crisis if both risks share a cause or their dependence rises in the tail.
Risk appetite expresses the amount and type of risk an organization is willing to take while pursuing its objectives. A limit turns that position into an operating boundary for a portfolio, business unit or activity. If a board accepts moderate currency risk but sets a hypothetical unhedged exposure limit of 20 million, a proposed 26 million position requires reduction, a hedge or escalation before approval.
