“While preparing for CGSS, I keep a small list of mistakes from Methods, Procedures, and Documentation. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

“For CGSS, Ethics, Safety, and Professional Standards was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Yuki S.
Treasury Conquer learner
“My CGSS routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Case Analysis and Exam-Style Scenarios. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”
Trevor B.

“The CGSS practice questions kept my review focused.”
Hannah T.

“I use lunch breaks to review Global Concepts and Core Domain Knowledge for CGSS. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Elena G.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The hardest part of CGSS prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Sanctions Assessment and Interpretation separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”

Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
A screening alert is a lead. Compare identifiers to decide whether the listed person and the customer or transaction party are the same. Then identify the applicable jurisdiction, restriction, ownership or control links, and any authorization. A confirmed identity can lead to different actions under different measures, including an asset freeze, a transaction prohibition, or a narrower activity restriction.
Sanctions screening tests people, entities, assets, and activity against particular legal restrictions. AML monitoring looks for patterns that may indicate laundering or other financial crime. The same payment can raise both concerns, but a suspicious pattern does not itself establish a sanctions prohibition, and a sanctions restriction can apply without evidence of laundering. Investigate and document each basis separately.
Reconstruct the ownership and control position at the relevant transaction time and after the change. Obtain dated corporate records, voting agreements, payment instructions, and evidence of who actually directs the entity. Calculate interests under the applicable regime and test whether control survives the transfer. If the evidence is incomplete, preserve the transaction state and escalate the unresolved restriction before release.
