βI use lunch breaks to review Ethics, Safety, and Professional Standards for CPA. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.β

βThe hardest part of CPA prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Case Analysis and Exam-Style Scenarios separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.β

Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But youβll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you β so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
FAR asks how a transaction is recognized, measured, and presented under the applicable reporting framework. AUD asks what could be misstated and what evidence would support the reported amount. REG asks for its federal tax treatment, which may differ from the book treatment. For a machine purchase, FAR may calculate depreciation, AUD may test the purchase invoice and useful-life estimate, and REG may calculate tax basis and the tax effect of a later sale.
You take one Discipline section. BAR extends financial reporting into analysis, technical accounting, and governmental reporting. ISC examines information systems, controls, security, privacy, and SOC engagements. TCP develops tax compliance and planning for individuals, entities, and property transactions. The choice changes the depth of specialized work, while AUD, FAR, and REG remain common to every candidate.
Financial reporting and federal taxation use different recognition and measurement rules. Suppose a company records a $12,000 warranty expense but can deduct only $3,000 of related payments in the period under the stated tax facts. Book expense exceeds the current tax deduction by $9,000. The reconciliation adds $9,000 to book income to arrive at taxable income before other adjustments; the financial statements still report the full $12,000 expense.
