“While preparing for CVA, I keep a small list of mistakes from Case Analysis and Exam-Style Scenarios. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

Victor S.

“For CVA, Valuation Concepts and Core Domain Knowledge was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Amara K.
Treasury Conquer learner
“My CVA routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Analyst Assessment and Interpretation. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”
Leo F.

“The CVA practice questions kept my review focused.”
Nadia F.

“I use lunch breaks to review Treasury Applied Practice and Decision-Making for CVA. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Jonas P.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The hardest part of CVA prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Methods, Procedures, and Documentation separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”
Rosa M.

“I am still working through CVA, especially Ethics, Safety, and Professional Standards. Going back through missed questions slowly has shown me which details I rush past when I practice under time pressure.”

“The practice questions are incredibly helpful. They're closely resembling the real exam scenarios, which is perfect. With detailed explanations provided, studying has never been this efficient.”
Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
Purpose explains why the valuation is needed, such as a transaction, tax matter, or dispute. The applicable assignment determines the standard, which defines whose perspective and which conditions govern value. Premise describes the assumed use or disposition of the business or assets, such as continued operation or orderly liquidation. A profitable factory valued as a going concern may exceed the sum of its equipment sale proceeds, so the premise can change both the method and the result.
Free cash flow to the firm is available to debt and equity providers, so discount it at a rate reflecting both sources of capital, generally WACC, then deduct interest-bearing debt to reach equity value. Free cash flow to equity is after debt service and belongs with a cost of equity. Keep tax treatment, expected growth, currency, and nominal or real terms consistent. Mixing firm cash flow with a cost of equity can materially misstate value.
First identify the ownership rights and the level of value produced by the starting method. A cash flow already normalized for decisions a controlling owner can make may reflect control; adding a control premium could count the same benefit twice. A marketability adjustment concerns the ability to sell the particular interest and requires evidence about its restrictions, expected holding period, and available buyers. Apply any adjustment to a stated starting value and explain why the underlying risk is absent from the cash flows and rate.
