“While preparing for CAIA, I keep a small list of mistakes from Ethics, Safety, and Professional Standards. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

“For CAIA, Case Analysis and Exam-Style Scenarios was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Tom H.
Treasury Conquer learner
“My CAIA routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Chartered Concepts and Core Domain Knowledge. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”

“The CAIA practice questions kept my review focused.”

“I use lunch breaks to review Alternative Assessment and Interpretation for CAIA. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Grace L.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The hardest part of CAIA prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Investment Applied Practice and Decision-Making separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”

Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
Level I builds the vocabulary and mechanics of alternative assets, including how their cash flows, leverage, and investment structures work. Level II asks you to apply those ideas to allocation, risk, access routes, manager selection, and ethical decisions.
A cash multiple compares value received with capital invested, while IRR also reflects when contributions and distributions occur. An early distribution can raise IRR without increasing the total proceeds, so inspect the dated cash flows alongside both measures.
Different strategy labels can conceal shared exposure to credit conditions, leverage, or a need for liquidity. In a stress scenario, losses and funding demands may arrive together. Look through holdings and financing terms, and question correlations estimated from infrequent valuations.
