About this exam family
The CGMA Professional Qualification develops your judgment from short-term operational decisions through management planning to long-term strategy. At each level, Enterprise topics explain how an organisation creates value and works with people, Performance topics turn costs and risks into decisions, and Financial topics explain reporting and funding. The case studies bring those strands together in a finance role: you must connect a calculation to its commercial consequences and communicate a recommendation. This guide follows that progression. Start by asking what decision the organisation faces, which information is reliable, what alternatives are available and who bears the consequences. A sound answer should make its assumptions visible and explain why the numbers support the proposed action.
