“While preparing for SERIES-99, I keep a small list of mistakes from Finra Concepts and Core Domain Knowledge. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

“For SERIES-99, Operations Assessment and Interpretation was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Jamal W.
Treasury Conquer learner
“My SERIES-99 routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Treasury Applied Practice and Decision-Making. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”
Yuki S.

“The SERIES-99 practice questions kept my review focused.”
Trevor B.
Treasury Conquer learner
“I use lunch breaks to review Methods, Procedures, and Documentation for SERIES-99. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Hannah T.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The hardest part of SERIES-99 prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Ethics, Safety, and Professional Standards separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”

Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
Customer protection focuses on the custody of customer securities and the treatment of customer funds, including possession or control and reserve requirements. Net capital focuses on the broker-dealer’s own liquid financial resources after prescribed adjustments. A firm can have a sound-looking cash balance yet have a custody deficit, or hold customer assets correctly while its own capital is strained. Operations staff must identify which records and exceptions bear on each requirement.
First identify whether the parties agree on the trade terms. A comparison break or a “don’t know” response calls for resolving the trade details. If the trade matches but securities or cash are missing, investigate the delivery or payment obligation and the resulting fail. The response may involve obtaining the asset, correcting records, or applying an applicable close-out or buy-in process. An aging fail should not be treated as a harmless bookkeeping difference.
Operations staff often see the first evidence of an unauthorized transfer, inaccurate statement or exposed customer record. A customer’s allegation of misconduct can require complaint handling even when it reaches a back-office employee. The employee should preserve the original information, restrict further exposure where appropriate and route the matter through the firm’s designated process. Investigating independently, changing records to make a discrepancy disappear or promising a customer a result can obstruct the proper review.
