“While preparing for SERIES-3, I keep a small list of mistakes from Methods, Procedures, and Documentation. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

Trevor B.
Treasury Conquer learner
“For SERIES-3, Ethics, Safety, and Professional Standards was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Hannah T.
Treasury Conquer learner
“My SERIES-3 routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Case Analysis and Exam-Style Scenarios. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”
Elena G.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The SERIES-3 practice questions kept my review focused.”
Aisha M.
Treasury Conquer learner
“I use lunch breaks to review Commodity Concepts and Core Domain Knowledge for SERIES-3. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Maya R.
Treasury Conquer learner
“The hardest part of SERIES-3 prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Futures Assessment and Interpretation separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”
Priya R.

“The well-structured practice questions help me prepare for the exam conveniently.”
“Thanks to the well-organized practice questions, I was able to tackle my exam preparations with ease. The questions are thoughtfully designed to closely resemble those in the actual exam.”
Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
Start with the cash-market risk. Someone who owns a commodity or expects to produce it is hurt by a price fall, so selling futures can offset that risk. Someone who must buy the commodity later is hurt by a price rise, so buying futures can offset it. At the close, combine the actual cash purchase or sale with the signed futures gain or loss. The remaining difference from the planned price comes chiefly from a change in basis, defined here as cash price minus futures price.
Futures are marked to market as prices change, while the related cash transaction may happen later. A short futures hedge against inventory can lose cash in its futures account when prices rise, even as the inventory becomes more valuable. If account equity falls below the applicable maintenance requirement, the customer may need to deposit funds before receiving the cash-market benefit. Hedge effectiveness and the ability to meet interim cash flows are separate questions.
A purchased option sets a price floor or ceiling after its premium while allowing the buyer to benefit from favorable cash-price moves. A futures hedge generally fixes the price more closely, subject to basis change, but its daily gains and losses can require interim cash. An option buyer can lose the entire premium. An uncovered option writer may lose more than the premium received. Always calculate the cash result, option payoff, premium, and any futures result separately before combining them.
